AT 67, MY FEET STOPPED ACHING BY THE END OF THE DAY AT HOME

I almost didn't write this, because who writes about their slippers? But my daughter noticed I'd stopped padding around in socks and complaining my feet were sore of an evening, and she asked what had changed. This did.

For years my feet were worst at home, of all places.
