AT 67, I WORE A HEEL AGAIN — AND MY FEET FORGAVE ME

I almost didn't write this, because it's only a pair of shoes. But I wore them to a friend's birthday dinner, stood chatting for an hour before we even sat down, and my feet never once complained — so I thought I'd share.

I'd more or less given up on heels. Not the towering kind — I mean any little bit of height at all.
